Nancy Richmond and her husband Charles are lifelong residents of Greenbrier County, WV, and descendants of the famous McClung pioneer family who settled the area before the Revolutionary War. Before retiring, Nancy Richmond was a municipal court judge, and Charles was a police officer in Greenbrier County.
Nancy Richmond is a historian, a certified genealogist and the author of numerous books. She is a volunteer genealogist for the Wiki Tree Genealogy organization, and a member of the Greenbrier Historical Society. Nancy has written several volumes on the McClungs of Greenbrier County, and specializes in books about Appalachia.
